Antique FLIRTY eye Koenig & Wernicke celluloid baby doll orig wig & clothing TLC

Description

Ready for your enjoyment is this very difficult to find, circa 1912, darling jointed character baby doll by KOENIG & WERNICKE, Waltershausen/Thüringen. He measures 14" long and is completely original, head body, wig and clothing. His celluloid socket head is fully marked in a raised circle:
K & W over W 298/6 (turtle mark) Germany.
He has gorgeous,
antique brown glass, flirty/sleep eyes
with partial sable hair eyelashes, upper and lower painted lashes, brows, an open mouth with tongue and teeth, wonderful complexion and details to hands and feet. His original, German composition baby body has all the original paint finish including pink blush to feet and hands (some paint wear to one arm and paint touch up to inside of other arm). He still has his original, thick brown, human hair, baby-styled wig beneath that adorable baby bonnet with brim and ribbon trim to match his pale blue, organdy baby dress, petticoat and onsie-style bloomers, all trimmed with scalloped rows of lace and pink ribbon trim. He is in fair to good condition as he has two, professionally repaired and stabilized, (reinforced) old hairlines behind his ears, no other damages or repairs. (loc K2) Other items shown are
