Vintage Celluloid Crochet Knit Romper Baby Doll Rattle Toy & Box
This vintage antique celluloid crochet knit romper baby doll rattle toy and box dates from the 1920s. It is made of a thin delicate celluloid early plastic material with hand painted molded face details and original blue white hand knit crochet romper, bonnet hat. This charming children's rattle toy has a cute jointed movable arms, legs baby doll attached by a knit rope to a celluloid ring at top for carrying and comes in the original box with an adorable paper graphic label lid reading "Tis a cute little rattle I packed here so snug and a dear little dolly for baby to hug". The baby rattle measures 5 inches long. It is in good condition, with only a few faint age spots on the knit outfit and some wear to the outer box paper label top (see close-ups). This is truly a rare and wonderful antique early celluloid child's infant baby rattle toy!
